I’ve been in a bit of an art rut and works been kicking my ass, so have a couple pictures of my new Ramona costume that I wore last weekend at Ohayocon 2013!

The skirt is a bit tight and the bag I made the night before the con, but I think it photos pretty well. Photos are by my friend Amanda and my sister Rjbritton

—>Insert long ass rant about how improper grammar is not only becoming the norm in social media, but it is being overlooked and treated as acceptable behavior. It makes me nauseous, and reminds me of being in junior high again. It reminds me of being one of the only kids in English class who gave two shits, and getting annoyed when the rest of the class was being so loud that the teacher couldn’t teach.

Anyway.

I don’t get the appeal of making these images. Whenever I see 20-somethings getting nostalgic about flip phones and Pokemon, it kinda cracks me up. Did you ever go outside and climb a tree because it was one of the only things you had to keep you entertained? I know I did.

NOW GET OFF MY LAWN! ;D

Anyway, lots of new photoshop tools I have not yet tried…I have the trial version of photoshop CS6 and it’s got so many things I haven’t had on my other programs, so I mainly was testing out what it had. Plus the fact I wanted to draw Chrysalis. I was always intrigued with the way she had Shining Armor under her spell, I wanted to do my take on his first encounter, maybe shortly after Cadence was imprisoned. So…yeah. I love this. It was fun to play around with! Took me about 3 hours. :P

I’ve been scrolling forever just to find this! XD
